Tea and Wheat Free bread... Tasty with some light butter...

Hooray for me!
I actually baked wheat free bread, and not those ready mixed packs, its the actual real stuff. Oats, Rye, Rice, Barley, well proud. The batch I made turned out quite small, but it was so tasty and the texture was moist. I hope to adjust the ingredients for the next time so I can make a bigger loaf.

I have an intolerance for wheat, and a few other things, but mainly focusing on wheat right now, one thing at a time. Found out in January thru an intolerance test, but not had the will to keep off bread and things like that. Bread has to be one of my weaknesses in life, I love a nice tasty sandwich :) So, this will be a good change for me, and a hobby as well, if the house isn't full of party people for the university year. We'll see.

Am playing this online game called Evony at the moment, it's quite addictive. I've been getting into a lot of addictive games lately, and it's not healthy. Took a break from The Sims 3 a while ago, and am only ever on World of Warcraft when Gordon wants to play with me, which hasn't been much. But, I don't mind.

Why are Health shops so expensive? Wish I could buy a dairy free chocolate bar that doesn't cost 4euro, or my favourite Japanese rice cakes that doesn't cost 2.50euro. It's so annoying when you can't afford these things, especially as I'm unemployed and going into full time education. But, gotta just compromise. Education or eating healthy. What a choice!

Every minute I chat to Gordon online, I miss him tons. Hope to see him next Tuesday at the latest. It'll be for a few days but oooooooooooh I can't wait for his cuggles and kisses

p.s. Things have changed, and I won't be able to see Gordon for a few weeks.

Out of sync a lot...

My sleeping pattern is all over the place the last while, and getting headaches, which isnt normal. Am a bit worried about the Grant forms for University, really hope I get something to help me out financially for the next year.

Can't wait to start Uni, they have some study skills classes coming up there for Mature Students which is great. Am going to take all of them. Am worried about essays, but that should be ok, as long as I get the studying in.
Haven't focused on four subjects yet for the Arts course, should I do Irish, should I not? Hmmm.

Since coming back from Belfast after seeing Gordon for a brilliant 8 days, I really miss him. It's not been the same since I came back, and I still adore him. I think we really look cute together (Giggle)

We just spent time together, holding hands, cuddling a lot, playing World of Warcraft, watching movies, chatting about things. He's a brilliant cook :) But now, it feels like we're waiting around for things to move. Nothing's being moved, time goes slow. But, I'm so proud of him. Two interviews to look forward to this month, a place to live. I believe in him and that it'll all work out for us. Huge smiles to my Gordybaby :)

The kittens are growing up really fast. They're about 6 weeks old now. Buddha is the toughest of the three, running around the room following people's feet, and jumping out of tall cardboard boxes with a single bound ^_^". While Dora and Bubbles had been ill before, but are slowly recovering. With eye infections and hardly strength to eat from their mother's milk, most of the family have been cat-sitting, trying to feed them kitten milk and cleaning their eyes. I pray that they'll grow strong and live.

Have a lot of photos from home which I'll be uploading soon, doubtful it's my best photographic work, but hey, I like the place.

Arts... Gordon... Food... Kittens... All connected...

Kind of... (Giggles)

No, not really. But, am in a happy mood these days.

First off, I accepted an Arts course in the National University of Ireland, Galway, today. Am so thrilled to have this chance, but not sure what I'll study yet. Would like something that could help me further my chances with Special Needs children, or young children in general, but I can try to do evening courses in those areas while studying Arts.
Wow, am going to be a student, at a university... So strange. Dreading the fees, but will work it out. Got to look at grants yet. Typical me, leaving it until last minute.

He went missing for a few days, but he's back, and he's mine! Giggle. Jellybean for Gordybaby xxxxx <3

Cut down on junk food the last four days, meaning less white chocolate, less biscuits, less tortilla chips. Felt really low the last few weeks and stopped going to Weightwatchers, but am back on my way again. Drinking a litre bottle of water every day as well.
Will go back to WW when I feel I'm ready to, in a few weeks. They says they dont judge if you've got up, but its the tone of their voice... Just put me off track for a while.

And, on a sad note, Marshy lost one of her kittens. The baby died at some point yesterday afternoon, and we have yet to bury the little creature. It's sad to lose life, even if you've only known the spirit for a few days.
God Bless you little white kitten in the sky...

Hopefully... 4 more days til I see Gordon...

Am getting really excited about meeting him. We've chatted online for over a month, and get on really well with him... Always been the one to take the first leap when meeting someone, and he makes me so happy... Once I start cuddling him, I'll not wanna let go :) x

To Abby... Adore my American girl, keep smiling. Sending my Angel to you to give you sooooo many cuddles, you won't be able to breathe :D x

Job is still unattainable. Plus, I've no money coming in anymore, so its very tough. I'm keeping positive, love my family so much, they're such a support...
Just been eating more again, dreading going to Weightwatchers this Thursday :( But, it has to be done, and gonna try to be more positive again.

I am really blessed to have a loving family, a brilliant guy in Belfast waiting for me, and few good friends. I don't keep in touch with my friends as much as I'd like, but I do love them.

Sending a million cuddles xxx

Galway is SOOOOO cold!

Brrrrr....

Now I remember a reason I moved away...

Am after having 3 cups of Lyons tea and a slice of toast since landing at the pad in Galway city. The shoulder feels like it's been pulled from its socket to be honest, need a good massage. Don't know anyone that does shoulder massages though... :(

Am kinda tired, but ok. Closed the eyes for half an hour, but the urge to txt my friends here was so great, I went online to Meteor and txt everyone I could think of. Not many replied obviously, busy-ness of the Irish life and all that... That's ok.

My boyfriend was a good alarm this morning. Didn't sleep much though, wanted to be ready to go. He'd landed back from Cork for the weekend, all smiles and unshaven tired eyes. He got to see his first nephew Cormac, 1 month now. He took some photos of baby Cormac, very tiny and cute :) We chatted for a bit, but he was falling asleep :) We cuddled for most of the night...

Got the first train at 5:10am to Heathrow Airport Terminal 1 (there's 5, very confusing). Not sure what time we landed, must have been 6:45am or so. Ol helped me with the 2 really really heavy luggage bags as far as he could. We said our goodbyes, it was very tough. Kept my smiles up til then. He'd bought me a teddy Sheep from Cork as a surprise, I want to call him Eweie (giggle), but he likes the name Pig. We're still undecided... x

So, 2 airplanes, 1 bus, and a lift from my sister Breda, and I'm back in cold cold Contae na Gaillimhe. Had a tea and a little flapjack in London, and a tea and a packet of crisps at Shannon. Had a changeover at Dublin, but didn't pick up anything. They've added a lot of shop in Dublin Airport since I was there a few yrs ago. Very cool! Just zoomed through.

The parents want to see me tonight, so think I might travel back to Connemara for a day or two. I've this awful dread in my stomach, can't shake it off. Feel very lost. Hope it gets better this week.

A Night at Avenue Q...

Hey all.

I had a lovely few nights now with my boyfriend, starting off with Sunday night at the cinema.. Met up at Cineworld in West India Quay to see "The Orphanage", with Guillermo Del Toro as the Executive Producer. Its based in Spain, all Spanish actors, so the movie comes with English subtitles. Del Toro also directed the movie "Pan's Labyrinth" and "The Devil's Backbone". The Orphanage was creepy at parts, I jumped at a few bits, but thought it'd be scarier. Ollie didn't want to see it 'cos he freaks out at scary movies, but he wanted to bring me 'cos I couldnt wait to see it, and I was moving home soon :) Sweet..

We had some lovely Indian food after that in Westferry, and then travelled back. I loved freaking him out! :D

As you all know, I went exploring London on Monday, and then Ol cooked us dinner that night. We both like pasta and chicken, so he made a yummy dinner for us :)

On Tuesday, I was to meet my friend Angie from St. Pancras station, 'cos she was just back from Ireland, but when I heard she'd landed there while I was waiting for the DLR, I just gave her easy instructions to follow to make her way home. I wouldnt make it to her for another hour at least. So instead of meeting her, I'd gone to my beauticans. My skin was very irritated for a week, and it was really bothering me. Feels a lot better now since, really needed that. Supposed to cut down on chocolate and drink tons of water, both of which I've done well with since Tuesday. Very proud :) .. So, I made dinner for Ol that night, first time in months to be honest. My cooking skills have gone a bit rusty, but Ol is a good teacher. He said he loved it, so I'm happy :D

On Wednesday night, we went to The O2 Dome in North Greenwich to see "Drillbit Taylor", very funny I have to say. Heard some bad reviews about it. Owen Wilson could have been a bit funnier, but the young lads were great in it.

Had a lovely Starbucks Hot Chocolate as well, while he had his Hot Milk with Caramel..

Thursday was our last night together on a date, and the title of my blog.. We went to the theatre to see "Avenue Q"... We met up at Leicester Square, where we first got some food at a noodle bar.. He'd ordered a Lemon Chicken and Rice, while I got my fave Sweet & Sour Chicken and Noodles. He hated his, tasted like Washing Up Liquid! Giggle. Poor guy, I shared mine, but he only ate some..
Then, with half an hour to the show, we went looking for an ATM! :) Found one..
The show was brilliant, they're puppets, but with a lot of naughtiness ;) Oh, the puppets did it for me.. Ol just wasnt turned on tho... Giggle ;) :P

I couldnt help it, but I was a bit emotional last night over moving home. I couldnt hide what I felt. If this is how hard it's going to be for the next few years, of course its going to feel this way. But, he tried to calm me down, make me see that if it makes me happy, I've got to do it. It still hurts though, he has a piece of my heart...
(Yeah, throw up time!) :)

Now, I just ate his garlic bread while he's at work, and gonna take a lovely shower. Ollie, Good Luck on travelling to Contae Corcaigh this weekend x

Gonna cheer myself up with a lovely Wagamama's Chicken Katsu Curry in Angel tonight, see my friend Thomas from Ireland on Saturday (hopefully), and get ready for my move home on Sunday... I cant wait to see Shane and all my friends and family again. Enough of my boring-ing-nes-nesssssss :D Hugs x

I'm Leavin', on a Jetplane...

La la la.
That song is so cool...

So here it is. I'm flying home. Gonna keep it a surprise to my family and friends this time, I'll wait for the right moment to tell them. It's going to be soooo great! Big smiles.

Looking for work was very hard, and think I just gave up on looking the last few days. For most of you, you might think of me as sad, but to be honest, I did London. Its definitely not for the weak. Loved my only job here, working in a busy Pub & Restaurant on the North of London, but the only problem was the weekends. They were long, they were very late, and you never got a weekend night off. Imagine, no weekend night off in London for 5 months. It wasn't funny. It's great people can do that, but I don't go out much, and I really wanted to go out in London, with friends.

Who to go out with though, as well. When you work in a place like that at the start, its very hard to make friends. All you have is your work group, and they're all in the same situation. A few of my work colleagues Did get a weekend night off since I started, and honestly it wasn't fair..

So, that's my rant of my last job. Anyways, I'm flying to Shannon on Monday morning the 7th of April at 9.05am. Apart from my sister Roisin, my boyfriend Ollie and one of my close friends Angie, no-one else knows. For now...

Happy, but sad too. I'm leaving one special person behind, and it hurts a lot.. x

His Galway Girl...

My Cork boyfriend was telling me of all the comments he was getting from having this video on his page. He should be proud, going out with a Galway girl and all...

What do you think guys? Giggle. x ;) Thats for you Ol :)
