Galway jobs... SNA jobs.... Just not there!

I keep up to date on all the jobs coming up in the papers, and it's just so bad that no-one sounds like they believe you, it gets pretty depressing. The impossiblity of finding work in Galway (unless you're friends with someone in a job, and they promise you a spot in the future) is just the way things are at this present time. There are many websites with people complaining of the same problems, especially in The City of The Tribes. A sad state of affairs...

With the problems of the new Ireland Budget, and Bank insecurities, I am not alone in this. Am also very stubborn, as I'm never moving from Galway ever again for work. Not a possiblity for me I'm afraid. Galway is my home, and I love it here. It's hard to remain so positive when everyone around you gives you pessimism (doubt)...

Trying to keep positive... x

I hear what you say, I too have been looking for jobs, as a SNA and/or phlebotomist. They dont advertise any. I managed to get 6 hours a week working with my niece who is Autistic. Other then that there are no other jobs out there SNA/Phlebotomy unless you know someone. I think its pretty much like that throughout Ireland. Me, I cant wait to move out of Galway again. Back to the UK.
